教師進(jìn)教室后，使用祈使句請(qǐng)學(xué)生們完成一系列動(dòng)作：

Please stand up/ sit down. Close the door, please. Look at me and listen to me.

Don’t open your books. Don’t talk. Let’s begin our class.

學(xué)生聽(tīng)教師的指令完成各種動(dòng)作，教師也可將指令寫(xiě)到黑板上，讓學(xué)生從視覺(jué)上考察祈使句的特點(diǎn)。

Ⅱ. Presentation

教師出示書(shū)上1a 的圖片，向?qū)W生提問(wèn)。

指著圖上奔跑的男孩提問(wèn)

T：What’s the boy doing? S: He’s running.

T: Where is he running? S: He’s running in the hallways.(板書(shū)，教讀)

T：Can you run in the hallways? S: No, I can’t.

T: So please don’t run in the hallways.(板書(shū)，教讀)

(= You can’t run in the hallways.)

學(xué)生跟讀數(shù)遍，明白祈使句和“can”的表達(dá)含意。

三、Presentation

1. Play the cassette and pause after each utterance for the children to repeat and tick the actions: went to the park, met John, bought ice creams, went home, ran to the bus, dropped.
